As a dedicated 2S module, it’s optimized for battery packs with a nominal voltage of 7.4V (3.7V per cell), making it a critical component for maintaining battery integrity and device safety.

At its core, this protection board integrates a comprehensive suite of safety mechanisms to guard against common battery hazards. It features precise overcharge protection (triggering at 4.25V when cells exceed safe voltage to prevent swelling or thermal runaway), over-discharge protection (activating at 2.5V to avoid irreversible cell damage from deep discharge), and robust over-current protection (supporting a continuous current of 5A, with a 20A short-circuit cutoff to shield against excessive load or accidental shorts).
