The ITL0050100004-01 is an advanced intelligent protection board engineered for 5-cell series (5S) lithium battery packs—compatible with Li-ion, Li-polymer, and LiFePO4 chemistries—featuring a 10A maximum discharge current and integrated SMB (System Management Bus) smart functionality. Designed for medium-high voltage applications (nominal 18.5V for Li-ion, 16V for LiFePO4), it merges robust safety safeguards with real-time data-driven management, making it ideal for smart devices requiring precise battery control, such as industrial IoT systems, professional tools, and medical auxiliaries.

5S-Specific Protection & 10A Reliability

Calibrated for 5-cell configurations, the board delivers targeted protection aligned with 5S voltage dynamics and 10A medium-power demands:

  • Overcharge Protection: Triggers at 4.25V (Li-ion)/ per cell (total 21.25V for 5S packs), cutting charging current to prevent cell swelling or thermal runaway—critical for 5S systems where voltage imbalance across five cells accelerates degradation.
  • Undervoltage Protection: Shuts down discharge at V (Li-ion) per cell (total 15V for 5S packs), avoiding irreversible capacity loss from "weak cells" that compromise stability during 10A operation (e.g., smart tool startup).
  • 10A Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: Blocks currents exceeding 10A (max discharge) or 30A (peak surge), shielding the 5S pack and connected devices from burnout.
  • 5-Cell Active Balancing: Automatically equalizes voltage across all five cells during charging, extending battery lifespan by up to 35% vs. unbalanced systems and maintaining consistent 10A discharge
