Core Protection Functions for 3S Battery Packs
Tailored to 3S battery packs (typical nominal voltage: 11.1V for Li-ion, 9.6V for LiFePO4), this board delivers multi-layered safeguards:
  • Overcharge Protection: Triggers when any cell voltage exceeds 4.25V (Li-ion) or 3.65V (LiFePO4), cutting off charging current to avoid cell swelling or thermal runaway.
  • Undervoltage Protection: Shuts down discharge when a cell drops below 2.5V (Li-ion) or 2.0V (LiFePO4), preventing irreversible battery capacity loss.
  • Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: Instantly blocks high currents caused by short circuits or overloads (e.g., faulty devices), protecting both the battery and connected equipment.
