This 1S lithium battery protection board is a compact yet robust safety solution designed specifically for single-cell lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries, serving as a critical safeguard for small electronic devices. Engineered to prevent common battery hazards, it integrates multiple protection mechanisms to ensure reliable performance and extend battery lifespan.

At its core, the board features comprehensive protection functions: overcharge protection (cuts off charging when voltage exceeds 4.25V to avoid cell swelling or leakage), over-discharge protection (stops discharge below 2.5V to prevent irreversible capacity loss), short-circuit protection (triggers in milliseconds to block excessive current during accidental shorts), over-current protection (limits discharge current to a safe threshold, typically 5A-10A depending on model), and optional over-temperature protection (shuts down operation if temperature exceeds 70℃).

Crafted with high-quality components, it includes a precision protection IC that monitors battery status in real-time and dual MOSFETs (one for charge, one for discharge) to ensure rapid response to anomalies—switching off circuits within microseconds when thresholds are breached, then automatically restoring operation once conditions normalize. The ultra-thin PCB design (as thin as 0.8mm) and compact size (often under 20x10mm) make it ideal for space-constrained devices like Bluetooth earbuds, smartwatches, mini power banks, portable sensors, and small IoT gadgets.
