Calibrated to address the unique dynamics of 4-cell configurations, the board delivers targeted protection aligned with 4S voltage profiles and 10A discharge demands:
  • Overcharge Protection: Triggers at 3.75V (Li-ion)) per cell (total 15V for 4S packs), instantly cutting charging current to prevent cell swelling or thermal runaway—critical for 4S systems where voltage imbalance across four cells can accelerate degradation.
  • Undervoltage Protection: Shuts down discharge at 2.5V (Li-ion) per cell (total 10.0V for 4S packs), avoiding irreversible capacity loss from "weak cells" that compromise performance in 10A mid-power operation.
  • 10A Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: Blocks currents exceeding 10A (max discharge) or 30A (peak surge), shielding the 4S pack and connected devices (e.g., cordless mini-drills, portable LED work lights) from burnout during startup or sustained use.
  • 4-Cell Active Balancing: Automatically equalizes voltage across all four cells during charging, eliminating uneven charge distribution—a common issue in 4S packs that reduces runtime and lifespan. This feature extends battery life by up to 30% vs. unbalanced systems and maintains consistent 10A discharge.
