A medical equipment distributor in the United States was supplying portable ultrasound devices to hospitals and clinics. The devices previously used sealed lead-acid batteries, which were heavy, had limited cycle life, and required frequent
replacement.
Challenge:
The client needed a lightweight, compact, and long-lasting battery solution that complied with medical safety standards and provided consistent voltage output.
Solution:
We developed a custom 3.7V 10Ah lithium battery pack with integrated protection circuits (overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit). The battery pack’s design allowed easy retrofitting into the existing ultrasound device housing without requiring major modifications.
