Designed for medium-power, low-to-mid voltage applications (nominal 7.4V for Li-ion), it balances robust safety safeguards with responsive current handling, making it an ideal choice for small electric tools, portable energy devices, and consumer electronics that demand reliable 2S power protection.

2S-Specific Protection & 20A High-Current Safeguards
Calibrated to address the unique needs of 2-cell series packs, the board delivers targeted protection optimized for 2S voltage dynamics and 20A discharge demands:

Overcharge Protection: Triggers at 4.1V (Li-ion) per cell (total 8.2V for 2S packs), instantly cutting charging current to prevent cell swelling or thermal runaway—critical for 2S systems where voltage imbalance between two cells can quickly degrade performance.

Undervoltage Protection: Shuts down discharge at 3.1V (Li-ion) per cell (total 6.2V for 2S packs), avoiding irreversible capacity loss from “weak cells” that often plague low-cell-count packs during 20A high-load operation.

20A Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: Blocks currents exceeding 20A (max discharge) or 60A (peak surge), shielding the 2S pack and connected devices (e.g., wireless electric screwdrivers, small portable fans) from burnout during startup or sustained use.

2-Cell Active Balancing: Automatically equalizes voltage across both cells during charging, eliminating the common issue of uneven charge in 2S packs. This extends the battery’s lifespan by up to 30% compared to unbalanced systems and maintains consistent 20A discharge capability.
